On September 19th – 15th 2017 the 103rd edition of the National Congress of the Italian Physics Society (Società Italiana di Fisica - SIF) has taken place in Trento. SIF is an annual congress that for one week puts together about 600 Italian physicist that are specialized in different sectors, from nuclear and subnuclear physics to matter physics, from astrophysics to the physics of the environment, from to applied physics.
The congress has been the occasion to present for the first time to this network of experts the contents of the BrennerLEC project, with a particular focus on the complex meteorological and air quality forecasting engine that will be implemented. The project was presented by the the Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering Department of the University of Trento.
